Slumptester with adjustable legs and level indicator for testing wet enamel slip.

Working method according to Irvin :

The cylinder is placed in the middle of the slump tester and then filled with enamel.

After this the cylinder is lifted and the enamel runs out over the surface of the plate.

The cross section of the released enamel indicates the "thickness" of the enamel.

If, for example, the best application results are obtained with a diameter of 15 cm, then all further millings must have that same consistency.
