More info
Firing represents the last step in the application of porcelain enamel.
When heated to the firing temperature and within the firing time, the strongly adhering, smooth and glass-hard enamel coat is in its final state.
Firing temperature and firing time are characteristic of each enamel and must be adhered to closely.
Certain adaptations of firing time and temperature shall be made to suit the type of furnace and, by their nature, matched to the product and the substrate gauge of the ware that has been enameled.
